NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Nov 23, 2020) – While this year’s holiday season may look different for most, TC Restaurant Group continued their tradition of feeding downtown Nashville’s first responders. Last year, the group opened FGL House to allow police, firefighters and EMS personnel to stop in for a free turkey dinner on Thanksgiving Day.
This year, due to COVID restrictions and social distancing, TC Restaurant Group delivered the meals directly to the stations.
The group brought a meal of slow roasted turkey, homemade pan gravy, creamy Yukon gold potatoes, green beans, rolls and cranberry chutney to the downtown Nashville Police and Fire Precincts.
“Based on our business on lower Broadway, and especially with the way Nashville has grown, I think all bar employees have a deep appreciation for what these people do.” said Adriana Orsini, assistant director of marketing for TC Restaurant Group. “They are the ones who work the nights, the weekends and the holidays to keep our community safe. And, a big part of their job includes being away from their family and missing out on their family dinners and gatherings.”
Even though those gatherings may not happen this year, the idea is to show appreciation from their community.
“We work closely with emergency personnel on a daily basis. They are our coworkers and our neighbors, and we always want to take care of our neighbors.”
TC Restaurant Group wishes everyone a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving holiday.
